A casket maker (name withheld) reportedly d!ed after visiting a female friend at a brothel in Kubwa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Daily Trust reports that the incident occurred over the weekend at a facility located in the Kukwaba area of the satellite town, which reportedly functions as both a guest house and a brothel. The correspondent with the publication visited the deceaseds home, located opposite the NNPC junction in Kubwa, but was unable to locate his family member. They were reportedly traveling with his remains to his home state of Cross River for burial. Neighbours who spoke to the publication alleged that the man had gone to the hotel to meet the woman but collapsed before leaving. "The lady reported the incident to the hotel manager, who in turn alerted the Kubwa Police Division, a source said. Police officers arrived at the scene and rushed the man to the Kubwa General Hospital, where he was certified d3ad. During a visit to the Kubwa Police Division on Monday, officials confirmed the incident. A police source noted that three individualsthe female friend, the hotel manager, and the hotel ownerwere summoned to the station to provide statements before they were released. The source added that the deceaseds family requested the release of the body, which was granted. However, when contacted, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for Kubwa, CSP Paul Lazarus, said he was not yet aware of the incident but promised to investigate and revert. .
